        Hi there,

        I just watched a video of some ambient-sounding H90 effects; I wasn’t sure which were presets, and which the video maker created, but by and large they sound great for that genre. Are they available already in the H9000, and if not, any chance they’ll be ported over in the not too distant future?

          Hi Ed,

          These Programs aren’t available in the H9000 as FX Chains. We may be able to have them ported in a future release.

          You can see in H90 UI which algorithms are being used:

          Stargazers = Crystals + Shimmer

          Entanglements = UltraTap + Tremoloverb

          PrismVibe = PrismShift + Even-Vibe

          etc.

          The H9000 is capable of endless sounds that are similar to this by just experimenting with different algorithm combinations, that is part of the fun of using it. You can combine more effects in an FX chain than you can in an H90 Program so there is much more that you can achieve on the H90.

          I’d suggest experimenting with various combinations of the algorithms listed above and I’m sure you’ll come up with some very interesting results with little effort.

            I’m currently looking at preset and chain formats for the H9000 and looking to add conversion functionality to the H9000 preset tool at some stage.  If you can post a link to the H90 preset/chain files, or send them to me, I’ll have a look to see if I can convert them.

                Actually if you can help me dial in something that sounds as close as possible to the Stargazer effect, that would be great.

                I don’t have a H90, so I’d need a copy of the preset or chain file, or for someone to list all of the parameters for the patch or chain.
