I just saw this on a factual unit;

a delay parameter that would allow for no delay or little delay on low notes but would add delay as moving up the guitar neck.   Or vice versa.   It would have a settings for crossover point and rate or amount of delay increase.   You get the idea.   Make it as configurable as possible as a bonus.
