Sorry to hear you are having update issues. Please carefully follow the instructions below and that should resolve the issue:
Mac
- Connect your H90 to your computer via USB
- Boot the pedal into Recovery Mode: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.12.5/content/appendix/startup.html#recovery-mode
- You should see a drive on your desktop labeled “H90 Pedal”
- Delete the contents of that drive
- Empty your computer’s trashcan
- On your Mac, go to /Library/Eventide/H90 Control/Firmware
- If you cannot find the Library/Eventide folder, follow these instructions Accessing the Hidden User Library (macOS)
- There should be 3 files for the latest update: .os, .pak, and .bam
- Manually copy the latest update files to the “H90 Pedal” drive
- Eject the “H90 Pedal” drive and restart the H90

Thanks for the info.
I followed through on the instructions you listed, but unfortunately it did not work. I do not have a drive ‘H90 Pedal’ appear on my desktop.
I tried copying the update files into the respective ‘Backup’ folder and carried out a reboot of the H90 but that did not make any difference. Any other things I could try or some other way of accessing the H90 drive? What are ther contents of the H90 drive that I need to delete?
FYI: Windows 10 (latest update installed), Intel i9 CPU
Thanks for your help on this,

Hello,
You’ll need to get the H90 Pedal drive to show up on your computer for this to work. This may be an issue with your USB connection, or the pedal not booting into Recovery Mode correctly.
Do you see this on the H90 screen when you do the Recovery Mode button combo?

If so, then the pedal is booted into recovery mode and the issue is something else.
Can you try a different USB cable or connecting to a different computer?

I must have some kind of problem with my USB Hub because when I removed the H90 USB cable connection from the Hub and connected the H90 directly to my PC, the update installed correctly. I haven’t had that kind of problem with the previous updates but maybe something is going sideways with my Hub now.
Anyhow, update installed.
Thank you very much for your support on this.

Thanks for the follow up. Yes, USB hubs can be tricky so that may be part of the issue here. Glad to hear you got it settled!
