Is it possible to daisy chain word clock devices with the H9000 mid-chain by using both wordclock in and out instead of having to use a BNC T adapter? I just tried this and I don’t think you can. I tried putting something from the H9000 output to another audio interface and the latter will not clock to the H9000.

          That should work.

What is the exact setup and settings you tried?

H9000 clock should be set to “Word Clock”.

Does the interface clock to the H9000 correctly if clock is set to “Internal”?

In the end, I just put the H9000R last in the wordclock chain and set the 2nd audio interface wordclock output to Thru. I am using the ADAT and USB ports, so trying to stick a BNC T-adapter in there as well impossible at the moment. If I later add another word closk device, I may have to buy a work clock generator…

Ok, I’m still not sure why that wasn’t working for you.

I’ve setup the H9000 as a Wordclock THRU device before and it worked.

Note that you can also clock the H9000 via ADAT so you may not even need to have it hooked up to your WC chain. It will clock to your interface via the ADAT connection.
