I cannot find my micro SD anywhere. I tried attaching another micro-SD card, but it won’t fit to the USB adapter. Is there a specific compatible micro SD card type/model?

I assume Eventide has a supply of them. They sent me one in an unopened package after the original one went missing during their installation/testing of Gen2 DSP. Such lovely folks.
Mine is a SanDisk with two sets of numerals: Top: SDCZ430-032G Bottom: M2506003428Z

thanks. I’ve raised a ticket but will see if I can find one online. What about USB pen drives formatted in ex-fat? will the H9000 accept those?

The H9000 ships with a FAT32 formatted USB-A drive. There is no microSD card slot on the H9000 and it does not ship with a microSD card.
All units are shipped with a plastic bag of accessories including the Wi-Fi adapter, USB drive, etc. Did you check in this bag?
FAT32 is the only format that will work. If you don’t have the drive we can help you with a replacement.

I’m not sure what you mean by a USB pen drive.
You may be able to format a drive for FAT32 and have it work with the H9000, but it doesn’t always work out.
If you plug a drive into one of the USB ports on the H9000 and a popup comes up on the front panel, then it works. If there is no popup, then the drive is not formatted correctly or something else.
Our recommendation is using the drive that ships with the H9000, or purchasing a FAT32 formatted drive.

I have the H9000R, so it doesn;t actually have a front panel. Of course, it still has all the ports of the H9000.

If I understand correctly, the drive that comes with the H9000R has a recovery boot file? whoops…. Is there somewhere I can download the file from?

If you need to use Recovery Mode to update your H9000, the instructions are here: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h9000/2.2.11/content/appendix/startup_seq.html#recovery-mode
The files you need for the update are included in the instructions.
