There’s no doubt about it.  Chase Bliss knows what it’s doing. AFAIK Lossy is well on its way to becoming a classic.

There is an H90 user wish-list thread here.  You may want to post your “error effect” thoughts there.  Eventide does monitor that thread in particular and they do occasionally implement user-requests posted there.

You mentioned Resonator so I thought you might get a kick out of the attached program.  It is Resonator into Glitch.   I chose this combination of comb filtering notes because, with this combination, every note you play will resonate (something to do with upper order harmonics, I’m told).  I did scramble the sequence of those notes a few different ways so the particular way the notes resonate is different between no-HS, HS1, HS2, and HS3.
