Hi! Proud owner of a H90 here. I like this thing.

I appreciated a lot the latest updated which included many new granular type of effects. They were listening to the community no doubt.

I still miss some… ¿error stuff? Bit crushers, glitchy stuff.

I have my eyes on the CB Lossy. I think there’s no other pedal which does what it does. I think it would be cool for the H90 to add a error effect similar to it.

In any case, in the meantime, does anyone have a preset that replicate in some way the Lossy behavior? I though about mixing the resonator (I’d like more type of weird resonators here too) with the Sticky Tape but haven’t tried yet.

        Thanks!

I’ve never tried to emulate Lossy (now that’s a potential project for the future).  I think the new Glitch algorithm will get you most of the way there.  Maybe pair it up with Head Space or Vintage Delay, with or without using their delay lines.

Thanks for the response! I’ll definitely try those effects.

There’s no doubt about it.  Chase Bliss knows what it’s doing. AFAIK Lossy is well on its way to becoming a classic.

There is an H90 user wish-list thread here.  You may want to post your “error effect” thoughts there.  Eventide does monitor that thread in particular and they do occasionally implement user-requests posted there.

You mentioned Resonator so I thought you might get a kick out of the attached program.  It is Resonator into Glitch.   I chose this combination of comb filtering notes because, with this combination, every note you play will resonate (something to do with upper order harmonics, I’m told).  I did scramble the sequence of those notes a few different ways so the particular way the notes resonate is different between no-HS, HS1, HS2, and HS3.

                Good luck!

                ~Tony
