        In Logic Pro I have a stereo channel configured for surround output and panned to 100% back, dead center. When I send that channel to the bus with Blackhole immersive, the BHI input meters only show activity on the Front LR meters. In fact, I only see a front stereo meter, no others.

        Is there something wrong? This is my first time trying this so it may well be me. I am trying to record a quadraphonic patch from the VCV Rack plugin and thought I’d take advantage of the immersive reverb but I don’t want the imaging messed up by having the reverb on the rear channels incorrectly processing them as front channels.

        Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

          Hello,

          This may be related to your Logic settings. If you only plan on using a Quad setup, then you can configure this in your Logic settings for the surround format.

          If you are only seeing Stereo input meters, then you may have the plug-in enabled on a stereo track. My screenshot below shows what the plug-in should look like on a Quad track.

          Note that if your Logic settings are configured for Quad, you can start with a stereo track and place Blackhole immersive directly on that track. You should see the option for Stereo > Quad which will allow you to upmix the stereo source into the Quad plug-in using the panner in Logic.
