Hi, I just purchased the H9000 a few weeks ago. I’m trying to incorporate it into my guitar home rack rig which is all controlled by RJM mastermind and effects gizmos. I am finding the h9000 instructions to be very limited.

To start with, how would I go about assigning a midi channel to the H9000? I want to be able to have the RJM control different effects in the H9000. I just purchased a mini FX gizmo x to use for this reason so all 6 ins will be specifically dedicated to the H9000.

        Appreciate your advice.

        Thanks,

        Ed

          Hello,

I just moved your comment to a new thread so it is easier for users to find this information.

There is no global MIDI channel on the H9000, all of the MIDI mappings will be done at the FX Chain or preset level, and each FX Chain or Preset can respond to its own MIDI channel.

This section of the manual for Emote details how to map a parameter and set the MIDI channel: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h9000/2.2.11/content/emote/views/parameters_view.html#midi-and-controller-mapping

If you would like to use MIDI to load different FX Chains or Presets, then you can use Scenes to do this: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h9000/2.2.11/content/emote/views/scenes_view.html

Let me know this is helpful or if you have any specific questions about parameter mappings or Scenes. Please be specific if there is something you are trying and you are unable to accomplish it.
