the ideal clocking scenario (most pro and reliable) would be using W.C. with dedicated device, clocking all digital units in your setup. If your Lynx card offers W.C. , it's the best.
Clocking via S/Pdif may cause loops (I/O). I would try clocking the Lynx from the Eventide (master).
