Can i know which version of Cubase are you using?. I know that you can use the H8000 Fw as an audio interface and also as a real time processor in Cubase 5.
You will have to setup the Audio Routing inside Cubase to use the 16 firewire channels as I/O.Once you done that you can use the Eventide Routing Utility to route the firewire channels through the 2 DSPs as you want them. If you provide specific details , I can get more help regarding this.
