Not quite sure what you are saying. If you mean that the control is "non-linear", this may well be a function of the pedal – a pedal mainly used for volume control will probably have a logarithmic characteristic.
If your Behringer works fine with Eclipse, try temporarily trying it with the H8000 to see if this is the difference.
