Since IAC is a MIDI device, it points to some software issue on the Mac which is beyond our knowledge. Sorry.
But, on the bright side, I can confirm that you don't need the routing utility to communicate with the H8000 during normal use. Probably best to save any routings you think you will need on the H8000 and then they will be directly accessible.
