Yes it is possible to connect an H9 and Space via MIDI and sync Tempo from one to the other. The easiest way to do this would be to turn on MIDI Clock Out on the master pedal and turn on MIDI Clock In on the slave pedal.
Setting them up as a two way street would not work. You can only have one be the MIDI clock source.
