does a 12V port harm the H9?
A well regulated 12V, as provided by Mr Cioks, is fine. But an unregulated 12V could cause damage. It will not be obvious to most people whether a given supply is suitable, so we would suggest that you play safe.
It will be no surprise to anyone that damage caused by the power supply is not covered under warranty – an over-voltage may well destroy most of the circuitry.
