The CD version is probably the oldest one worth trying.
If you haven't already, uninstall the driver and then if present manually delete any files in Windowssystem32 and Windowssystem32drivers beginning H8000. You'll need to be logged on with Administrator rights.
Then do a search for any files ending .inf and containing the word H8000 in the Windowsinf directory. Delete these. Also delete files with the same name but ending .PNF
Then reboot and download the driver again (or use the CD version) and retry the installation.
If this doesn't work .. get back to me. Or even if it does.
