At the risk of sounding pedantic…
This thread is chock full of posts from people whose units have crashed while updated,
who can't seem to save rates along with their presets and who are
frustrated by a MIDI sync function that doesn't actually stay in sync. You are proposing that Eventide implement a new feature which would undoubtedly make the unit more user-friendly whereas I am suggesting that they first repair the functions which do not work (or have stopped working) as advertised.
