the H8000 has 2000 algorithms, Eclipse has 100+. So there are BIG differences.
A Step Modulator is something you need to create into an algorithm in the H8000. It's is not a system modulation source…like Eclipse has.
There are no patches using a step modulator on Eclipse has it doesn't have one.
There are some using it on the H8000.
