None of the above, and probably not quite what you're looking for.
1) selecting the patch, the key defaults to the PATCH value
2) when the aux switch is pressed, the key is set to MAX value
3) when the aux switch is released, the key is set to MIN value
Essentially, you will have to set the patch values to be the same as MIN value to do what you want.
