I went back and tried your Functions instructions again and now it works the same as when I do it without the footswitch! I think I thought I’d had it set to momentary but it wasn’t. I’m not sure why I couldn’t get the quickmap version to work, but I’m not going to worry about it for now, since its working this way. I’m sure it was a momentary vs toggle thing.
I still think the looper in the H9k has the potential to be the best out there, since it has so many great fx choices to go with it, has nothing to hook up externally, the now longer loops, multiple looper instances, etc.
