It looks like Anthology XI supports 64 bit VST3 – Now Cubase 10 is fussy and only reads 64bit VST3 from programfiles(x86)/common files/VST3 it's important to be able to choose to install them there but the installer doesn't give me any choice – is there a way round this? Choosing the path directly would be the most useful solution but failing that can I move them?
Hi, VST3 directories are standardized (whereas they were not for VST2), and thus the installer places them in the correct location automatically. These are:
64-bit: C:Program FilesCommon FilesVST3 and
32-bit: C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesVST3
If Cubase is still not recognizing the plugins, you may need to reset the blacklist and perform a rescan. Also make sure that the plugin licenses are activated in iLok License Manager.
