Unfortunately, as you have discovered, these parts are totally obsolete and have not been made for years.
I don't think you have much to lose by trying anything you can find as your unit will be worse without it.
But, note that if you keep it powered up, it should work fine – the battery is only there to preserve data when it is powered down.
