I just finished installing Emote on my new computer (Creation Station CS450 v6-2), and the same problem is occurring, just like on my old computer.
As noted previously, I can work around it by inserting a second instance of Emote, which so far always connects properly, and copying the settings from the first instance (the one that won’t connect), then deleting the first instance.
But it would be nice if I didn’t have to do that.
