I fear that surface mount repair should be done by an experienced technician, using suitable hot air equipment. Using a soldering iron will not usually be successful and may damage the motherboard.
When you locate such a technician he should be able to advise you of costs. Probably about an hour's work, so can't be too much. You could also contact our UK distributor. ( (Source Distribution London 44 020 8962 5080)
The error you mention is probably U106, but could also be faulty ram, cpu or flash.
