Hello,
I can’t comment on how a broken lamp will affect the unit’s operation. From your earlier comment, it’s not clear if you’ve performed the factory reset/initialize boot sequence correctly. Please see below:
Initializing the DSP4000 series
First power the unit off. Then press and hold the 8 key while powering the unit on. Continue holding down the 8 key while watching the display and you will notice a message appear “Release Key Now”, do so but then immediately hold down the 8 key again. Continue to do so until you see the message: Do you really want to lose all stored information? Select yes and then the unit will initialize. Upon completion it should load and display the “Empty Program”.
