Yes, the key is routing in Series. Just make sure Prism Shift (or Polyphony, PolyFlex, one of the reverbs, etc.) is first in line. Then whatever follows the frozen signal will process it.
Fortunately there are many placement options for the Inserts. One quick note on what to expect from Prism Shift: The High and Low voices will freeze, the Mid voice does not.
