The MIDI channel is up to you, you just need to make sure the MIDI controller and the H90 are both using the same channel. If the controller is already partially working with the H90, the MIDI channel is probably set correctly.
All of the MIDI mappings are customizable, so you will need to choose a CC for your MIDI controller to send, and then map that CC to Select, Bank, or Perform mode. The CC should send a value of 64 or higher to trigger the action.
