If you had the H9 working with a different MIDI controller before, and the issues have only started since using the new MIDI controller, it is most likely an issue with how you have the new MIDI controller setup.
I’m not familiar with your MIDI controller and not sure what you mean by the GCX to “see” the H9 as a MIDI device. You should be able to output MIDI PC messages from your controller, and if the channel and routing is configured properly, that will load the different presets on the H9.
