Exact reason I had to stop using the Inserts too. The very noticeable latency when playing guitar was driving me mad. Now as just a series effect on my pedalboard it’s acceptable, but it’s a shame not to be able to use all the very cool Insert functions.
I imagine the latency has to be fixed to make sure the Wet/Dry mix stays in phase? No idea what sample rate it uses but doubling that halves latency (while also increasing CPU/RAM use). I don’t know what the answer is, but it’s annoying for sure.
