For those who have upgraded… – Are there any new algorithms in firmware 3? – Are you able to run more than 4 effects in a single chain using the new DSP power? – Is there any impact on boot time? (For comparison, my Gen1 boots in 2m12s)
I think the 1st firmware is to replicate functionality of the old CPU’s, so no new algoeithms or extra effects slots yet.
Boot time seems about the same. I have a Gen2 boot at the end of my CPU upgrade video.
