I’d like to see a “meta-data” temporary pop up window in H90 Control EDIT screen that operates like the temporary pop up window we now have when hovering over a control knob (the one that says “Hold CTRL to fine tune”). This would be a preset/program editing tool.
As proposed here, when hovering over a control knob THAT HAS BEEN LINKED TO A CONTROLLER OF SOME KIND (a hotknob, a hotswitch, an aux switch, an expression pedal, etc), a temporary pop up window would indicate what controller has been linked to that knob. This would facilitate the use of factory and shared preset/programs because one needs to decode the work of others when firing up someone else’s program for the first time. But I even forget these controller links when returning to my own programs at a later time.
Naturally, we can already see this information in the CONTROL SOURCE window by selecting and deselecting control knobs. But that could easily require a cumbersome number of mouse clicks when one merely needs a reminder to make editing decisions (Is the P hotknob available to do such and such? If not, is the A hotknob available so I can free up the P hotknob to do such and such?).
I also would like to see a small “meta-data” button that enables/disables the requested feature so that this functionality doesn’t get in the way of those who don’t use/value it..
And if all that could be done by … say Thursday … that’d be even better. LOL
Thanks for making great stuff ET!
