GrainMod allows you to trigger grains in the audio buffer and choose how many grains playback on how long each grain is. It is a granular delay. The LFOs offer modulation for the grain rate/duration/playback direction, and this allows for the grain textures to slowly evolve in non-repetitive ways. You should try Cosmic Web as well. The FX Chains allow you to chain up to 4 algoriths, so you can really get some interesting things happening once you combine the new granular algorithms with other classic Eventide effects.
As I mentioned earlier, there are also a number of new FX chains using the granular algorithms starting at Bank #1700 (scroll all the way down the FX Chain list and you’ll find them).
