As mentioned before, you can achieve many different results by combining algorithms and experimenting with parameters. Using the algorithms on their own can already achieve a lot of different styles of granular and other effects.

What is “a true granular ‘cloud’ type effect” ?
What do you define as grain density?
What do you define as spread? Is it a pitched/detuning effect or something else?
If you clearly describe what you’d like to see, that could inform future development for other granular algorithms. If you make a new post and keep things detailed and concise, it is easer for us to keep track of what users are looking for.
