If you use the Looper 9110 you can record a buffer of audio and adjust the start/end time / playback speed etc. This itself can act like a granular effect, especially if you modulate the Start position. If you add any of these new granular algorithms after that, you now have multiple grains triggering at random values after your granular looper. With the 4 algorithms from an FX Chain, you can make all sorts of combinations like this.
This group of algorithms is our first offering of a new generations of granular style effects. I can’t make any promises but we certainly have more ideas.
I’d suggest experimenting with more combinations of algorithms in your FX chains as that’s where you can really get interesting results. Try 2 copies of GrainMod in parallel with slight variations to each LFO, you’ll get endlessly evolving grain patterns and you still have space for 2 more algorithms.
