For anyone wondering about Eventide plugin compatibility with macOS Golden Gate 27.0:
I recently updated my Mac before seeing Eventide’s advice to hold off while they complete compatibility testing.
However since I had already downloaded it, I went ahead and tested my Eventide Anthology XII plugins.
My setup:
• MacBook Air M5
• 16 GB RAM / 512 GB SSD
• macOS Golden Gate 27.0
• Gig Performer 5 Essentials
• Eventide Anthology XII
• AU plugins only
• 96 kHz sample rate
• 32-sample buffer
I opened my existing Gig Performer setup expecting I might run into problems, but everything loaded normally.
All of the Eventide AU plugins in my setup opened and worked, with no errors or obvious issues during use. Gig Performer 5 Essentials is also running normally.
Obviously, this is only my personal experience and doesn’t mean Eventide has officially confirmed macOS 27 compatibility. Eventide is still testing/supporting the new OS, so other Macs or configurations could behave differently.
But for anyone with a similar setup, I thought it was worth sharing that Anthology XII AU plugins are currently working for me on Golden Gate 27.0.
I’m going to leave my system as it is and wait for Eventide’s official macOS 27 compatibility announcement rather than downgrade.
