The title basically says it all. do the new pedals use the same sound as the H9 algos. So for example does the Micropitch delay pedal sound the same as the Micropitch algo in the H9?

Yes, these are the same algorithms found on the H9 with a few added features.
The Blackhole pedal has a dedicated Freeze button.
The MicroPitch Delay pedal has extended Delay times of up to 6 seconds instead of 2, and two new pitch modulation modes, negative and positive envelope modes.
Output levels on the pedals can be mapped to an expression pedal, where on the H9 they cannot.

Not to be overlooked, the extended headroom. I want to add that the onboard ACTIVE latching / momentary switch action turned out to be much more useful than I thought it would. I use the DSP+FX Bypass option with momentary switching, to punch in & build evolving drones & extended loops.

Ok great. Love the form factor of the new pedals! Good to know that they use the same sound as the H9.

I just watched this setting from the demo video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-2Z0u0gYW4&t=819s. Really dig the use with envelope mode. Any algorithm can achieve a similar result in H9? Maybe TriceraChorus?

This is such a powerful feature. Is there any chance you’ll be adding it to H9 Control in a future firmware update?
Thanks for making great products!

It has potential. That’s the only algo I can think of with direct + & – envelope control over pitch. Drop out all of the chorusing, and target just the detuning. Similar; not identical.
HotSawz can do + & – envelope control over the generated oscillators’ pitch. There’s positive envelope control over pitch in HarModulator, which can come close (at less detune depth). Possibly a similar effect with the multi-mode control in the ModFactor FX (specifically thinking the Vibrato algorithm here).

On H9 there are already input volumn swell and output volumn swell features, with which you can use EXP pedal to control the input or output volumn. Mapping the output level parameter to the HOTKNOB (aka ribbon aka EXP) would conflict with the existing feature. So we cannot add this feature to H9. Sorry about that.
