I want to get an aux switch for tap tempo for my TF.

Do I need a "normally open" or "normally closed" switch?

It should be a normally open, momentary type.

I’m about to build an aux switch too. I’d like to use it as a lead boost mostly, make a presets spit out a couple db’s more when engaged. Would that require a ‘normally open’ switch as well?

I also did a little research on a diy fs300 style switch. I learned that this would require 3 ‘normally closed’ switches. Is that right, and if so what makes the difference?

      Thx in advance!

      Peter.

All our boxes need normally-open switches. Happily, most push button switches are of this type, including those in the FS300.

I don’t remember where i read about the normally closed switches, but somebody has put that on the net.
