      Hi,

Im trying to back up my presets for the first time, ive followed the manual dumped all but i have no idea where it is getting dumped to on my computer??? Is my computer supposed to give me any indication to which folder it is goin too while it is being dumped because it isn't doing anything!! The manual gives no clear instruction how to retrieve your backed up presets!

      Hi Laffa,

You could use a program like MIDIOX to back up presets which are saved as .sysex files.  We  recommend our own program FactorLib which you can download for free here:

Be sure to download the manual and read up on the program, as it also serves as librarian and manager for all of your presets.  For instance, you could have two completely different sets of Presets for two completely different bands that you play in, and move those to and from the pedal as needed.

Good luck and let us know if you have any questions!
