I have a section in a song where I need a dual harmonizer. That’s easy enough but the thing is that I need to be able to engage it with a single footswitch for about half a bar (the high notes), and when I let my foot off of the button, the effect is gone so I can do the chuggy bit. It’s done quite a bit in that song. I posted a pic of the section below just for clarification purposes.Screenshot 2026-09-10 at 2.05.32 PM

I do it on my AxeFX setup, but I need to be able to recreate it with my Fractal AM4 rig. There are a ton of things I’ll use the H9 for overall, but I need it to do this specifically.

        Thanks in advanced!

If I’m understanding correctly, several ways to do this, set up as momentary switching.  For example, a Preset saved in Bypass, with Active (M) kicking it in.  Or a fully active Preset, with a HotSwitch (M) that only punches in the harmony.

This would all be found under the Perform pages for easy access on-pedal.  Most latching controls in the H9 Gen 2 have a complementary option for momentary triggering.

Apologies, I should have specified that it’s on a momentary switch. I know in Fractal-Land, it can be done with the “Pitch Follower” but it’s not as clean as I would like. Doing it with the switch is clean but tough to replicate, but that’s why we practice lol

Thanks so much for the info!! I’ll head to the shop later today!!
