Behavior when receiving program change

I have VST Live sending Program Changes to my H90 and my VE500.
when I hit play, the VE500 changes automatically. The h90 does not. I have to hit the space bar to pause and then once more to start again and THEN the program change registers.

If there’s a subsequent change I have stop and restart former the h90 to recognize the program change.

any insight how i can make it send program change on the first play?

Hello,

What is the VST you are using to send PC messages? How are you routing the MIDI to the H90?

Can you use a MIDI monitor to confirm that it is sending a PC message and the H90 is not changing Programs?

Perhaps you need to add a pause between commands
