I’ve just bought an H9 Max and am just getting to grips with it. I’m controlling it via a MIDI controller/sequencer and would like it to apply a gate to only output sound when it receives a cc message (setting the cc triggers on the sequencer). I’m trying to get an effect similar to some of the rhythmic gating presets but with the rhythm controlled by the sequencer.
I could just send a cc value to change the output volume, but then I’d have to immediately send another trigger/cc to reset it back to zero afterwards which is a pain.
Is there an algo or preset that will play the sound when it gets a cc value and then silences it after a set period of time?
