        Hi,

        My h8000FW started to act weirdly during a session today: started to try to load various programms in quick succession (thru / banddelays/ turbulence/ thru / banddelays/ turbulence/ etc).

        Switching on and off did not resolve this; after going though all the tests it ended up in this loop again (and the leds on the left remained at full)

        Tried booting with program button depressed (to load ‘thru’); unit noticed this, asked me to let go of key, said thank you, and then got stuck in the same loop
        Then tried booting with setep depressed, same thing
        Then tried boothing with button down: same thing, but now the screen light switched off, but I stll think it is stuck in this loop.

        Is my only recourse now booting with ‘8’ pressed? Do I loose my own presets then, or also factory presets?

        Any help is appreciated thanks Martin

        ps: problem started as follows. In the past I would use rsr232 to communicate with H8000, but this does not work very stable with new computer.
        Got communication using midi working on new computer, no problem yesterday. Today booted H8000, tried to load and send programms – nothing happened;
        when trying to get the connection working, I suddenly noticed the H8000 starting to send many bytes of data (20000 or so), and then got stuck in this loop.
