Sometimes when I am in "play" mode with the tempo switch turned on and I press the tap button to change the BPM up or down the encoder will not register the change of BPM instantly on the Billboard display. I will feel the encoder's "notches" as I turn the button but it will not register on the Billboard. Although, when I press the tap button again to view the tempo it reflects how many "notches" that I turned the encoder previously. The encoder functions normally in all other uses it is intended. So I don't think the button is broken in anyway. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
