I own two H90s one was able to update and the other one isn’t updating.
First it said “Factory setting not found”. I tried recovery mode and it’s doing nothing and just shows v 1.0.1
Now I cant find my H90 on my control app.
Shows the H90 in my devices

Sorry to hear you are having issues.
Can you be more specific when you say “I tried recovery mode and it’s doing nothing and just shows v 1.0.1”. You must boot the pedal in Recovery Mode, and then follow the update instructions below. If you see any error messages in H90 Control when you attempt the update, please let me know what the error message says.

Ok, I didn’t go to the burger icon to select recovery mode. I didn’t know that bit of information. When I go back home I’ll retry Recovery mode again using your provided information.
It’s crazy sometimes with these updates as most of the time I have no issues. I just find it strange that one H90 was successful in loading the new update and the other one is troublesome.
Updated control app then went to the control app and one of the pedals showed the new software symbol to be downloaded, one was white and ready for the software while the other H90 Download symbol was dark and unable to be clicked on. So I removed the H90 then reinstalled it on the Control app, but it could not be found at all.

Good evenng
I tried to update my H90 just now via USB / desktop. I am now seem to be stuck as it seems to be loading (message: “Loading content….”) and It does not seem to stop. I tried Recovery and the display of the H90 states “loading recovery…” but then jumps back to “Loading content…”. What is the issue here and how can I reset/recover the device? Thanks for any help in advance.

Hello,
When you boot the pedal into Recovery Mode, you should see the screen that is displayed in the manual below. It should remain that way until you perform the update. Are you saying that it does not stay on this screen? How are you powering your H90?

Not sure this information was for me or the other person above with a issue.
Regardless I will try the Recovery mode again but my issue is the pedal doesn’t show up on the Control app and I can’t add it.
Power shouldn’t be a issue as the second H90 is using the exact same power supply and its fine as well as the second H90 accept for the update today everything has been spot on.

@tbskolund
thanks for the response. I use the Eventide power supply.
re Recovery: the display never showed the “H90 Recovery” and currently H90 states continuouslly “Loading content…”.
I will swap the power supply.

You’re welcome. Please make sure you are holding down all 3 buttons (Select, Perform, Quick Knob 1) while you insert the power cable to enter Recovery Mode. If you do not see the image from the user manual, that means it is not booting into Recovery Mode.

I swapped the power supply and the H90 seems to be operative again. By accident I used the power supply of a H9. I usually operate all pedals via Eventide Powermax devices. Thanks for your hint.

Good to hear! Yes, the H90 will not be able to complete the power up cycle when using the H9 power supply. Thanks for following up.
