      I hear this is possible to do.  Basically control all the virtual knobs of the H9 with a ‘factor pedal’s physical knobs.   Is there a document or video on the setup of doing this?

      Essentially it is all in the User manuals.

      Look at:

      [XMT CC] to pick a MIDI CC for each knob (use the defaults)

       [CTL XMT] to enable this.

      [RCV CTL] to determine which knobs (same values as in XMT CC)

      [RCV CH] set this to OMNI

      What specific cable will be between the devices?

      You want a regular MIDI cable, which is a 3 or 5 pin DIN cable, available on line or from an electronics shop (they are used for audio as well). Connect it from the Factor's MIDI OUT to the H9's MIDI IN. The plugs should look like one of the pictures below.

      DIN 41524: 3-pin, 90°, 180°DIN 41524 / IEC/DIN EN 60130-9: 5-pin, 45°, 180°
