I combed through the forums, but didn't find anything concrete on this, or if it's even possible:  I have a Digitech FS3X arriving today for my TimeFactor.  I'm wondering if there is some way to control different functions of my Pitchfactor and Timefactor with one aux switch.

Here's what I would like to do with one Digitech FS3x:

      Timefactor:  L=Bank Down  M=Bypass R=Tap Tempo

      Pitchfactor :  L=Bank Down M=Bypass R=Bank Up

Can anyone tell me if this is even possible, or is it just easier to buy a 2nd FS3X?  I read you could connect a stereo Y cable between the FS to control the pedals, but wouldn't you inadvertently then be changing values of both at the same time?  I'm not sure the Y cable is my answer in this scenario.

      Thanks very much in advance!

You could as you mentioned connect a stereo Y cable between the FS to control the pedals, but if you did that you'd be controlling both at the same time. And I don't think you'd want the right footswitch to tap tempo on the TimeFactor and bank up on the PitchFactor at the same time. If you want independent control of both it would be better to get a 2nd FS3X…
