      Hi,

      I'm creating a synth on my Eventide DSP4000 (OS 2.00) and I'm using the
      "midinote" object to receive midi notes. My question is how I can
      convert the pitch output of "midinote" object to frequency values to can
      connect it to the input of an oscilator. I have find an object called
      "ptof" on vsigfile help documents that is doing that, but it seems that
      my old 4000 is not having it because I can't find it in add objects menu. How can I do this on a 4000?

      Another thing is that when I send midi to my patch it gets an error message and ask me to reboot….

      And about the ADSR object, with wich "amp" object I have to use
      it to let the oscilator sound pass thru? I'm using it with a "mix"
      object to control it from adsr object but it's not working. I'm doing
      right to connect the "midinote" gate output to the adsr gate input?

      Please help me, I can't find info on this in the internet or the manual…

      Thanks in advance!

      You should be able to do the same thing with control math modules. A starting point would be:

      F = 880 * (2 raised to power ( ( note – 69) / 12))

      Can't give any more help than this. Sorry.

      Don't understand this. Why not give the error message text ?

      Again, not clear what you mean. It should work with a MIX module.
