Eventide H9, Background Noise, White noise, Hiss, Hum, In Front of Amp

Hello,

I Know this topic have been discussed many times in the past but i would like to get a recent update on this issue.

I currently have 2x H9 on my pedalboard, Eventide H9 pack awesome fx and i really enjoy them.

I’ve noticed that the unit seems to be somewhat noisy when used in front on an amp with the fx engaged.  

 

I’ve ran a series of tests to try and Eliminate or Reduce the background noise.

Bypass Mode :

Using the Relay, (True Bypass) did help to reduce the background noise.

Setting the input gain levels :

Using this features did nothing to eliminate or reduce the background noise. I did get better results in audio quality of the used fx. The fx sound more presen with some gain added.

Eventide support question :

There you have it, to the best of your knowledge is there any other solutions of tests i could try out to acheive a better results ?
