I'm using an MPC 1000 as my midi time MASTER .. when I try to slave the pitchfactor (so the arpeggiator is in time with my sequence on the MPC)  .. the Harpeggiator glitches and freaks out the second I press play on the MPC 1000 .. I've tried every work around  .. (updates, different ways of routing  .. ) and nothing seems to work  .. any ideas ?

Try out this test:  Have the PitchFactor in Play mode before engaging the MPC.  When the HarPeggiator starts freaking out, press the middle footswitch [RESTART].  Does the extreme rate of the PF settle down to the MIDI Clock BPM that the MPC is sending?

I've had similar situations with an external clock, and the PitchFactor in HarPeggiator mode.  As I recall, no one else could reproduce it.  (I posted a recipe here.  I'd be interested in your take on this.).  The only way that I could get the PF to audibly snap away from (an apparent) maximum internal tempo was to hit the [RESTART] button.

I can't cite a particular 'factory' preset to test this on.  I experience it most often with custom presets that vary the speed or time division by some other means (MIDI, expression pedal).

Thanks for the response .. I did try that .. And it didn t work .. I'm going to return my pitchfactor .. Its too bad that such a high quality pedal can't do such a simple task .. I work way too much to waste time on something a 400$ keyboard can do effortlessly .. Hopefully eventide will look into this and fix this problem

      Hi gangsterska,

What exactly are you trying to do?  Would you be willing to provide step-by-step instructions so we can reproduce the issue?   As in, plug this into that, set BPM to this, etc.  Details are important.

Also, have you turned MIDICLK on in the PF, along with the CLKFILT?  The latest software is 3.5.0, so you might want to make sure it is running that as well.

Again .. Thx for the reply .. Its been returned .. Im going to close my end of this thread because i can no longer help!! All i can suggest to the eventide team is to get your hands on an mpc and synch it with your pitchfactor (updated and all) with midi .. Get your arpegiator goung and press play on the mpc and witness the chaos !! Thanks
