Hi all!
One quick question.
Besides being newer (and the number algos and presets), is there any difference in hardware (internals, converters, sound, specs, etc…) between the late D/SE and first units (S, SE)?
Are they EXACTLY the same hardware?
I read somewhere that the converters on earlier one units were “noisy/grainy” and are better on the D/SX or the D/SE?

Sorry, we don’t have that information to provide.
Any well maintained H3000 that you get your hands on will give you the classic sound regardless regardless of some potential small differences in various hardware models.

S/SE models are smoother and more lush D/SX/D/SE have a darker grainier vintage vibe. Subtle but noticeable.

Joywalim, thanks for the reply and info!
These differences are really interesting, as some comments I saw on another forums say that the original is grittier and the later models (D/SX and D/SE) more refined sounding.
